Bears like to fish, so fishing is naturally one of their favorite activities.
But an enormous grizzly bear sharing a ship with a friend as well as fishing together seems too big.
Believe it or not, that’s clearly what this kind-hearted woman, her rescued bear, does. Meet Veronica Dichka, and her closest companion Archie.
The bear Archie spent the majority of his life in the safari park, so he could not be freed into the wild even after he was rescued. Sadly, this commonly happens with feral animals kept in captivity for too long.
However, his life converted totally two years ago when he met Veronica.
The kind-hearted woman made up her mind to take this gentle giant to her as well as look after him. For over two years they were connected by a very uncommon, but wonderful contact.
“We rescued him from the safari park, but we couldn’t set him free because he lived in captivity his entire life,” she said.
The couple was captured on camera fishing together in Lake Novosibirsk in Russia not so long ago, and the adorable shots look like a fairy tale. Although they spend a lot of time together, fishing remains their favorite activity.
Possibly because they are both big lovers of new adventures.
“Archie spends every day with us. He is madly in love with water,” said Veronica.
“He loves when I take him to new locations. We are like a family, we share food, we sleep in each other’s arms, and when we are frightened, he hides behind my back.
We saved him from the safari park, but we cannot set him free into the wild because he has lived in captivity his entire life.
